White Wooden Classic 12 Year Birthday Ring. Grimm White Wooden Classic 12 Year Birthday Ring by Grimm's Spiel und Holz Wooden Toys is perfect for celebrating the next important birthday.

This White Wooden 12 Year Birthday Ring is made from Hard wood (Alder, Lime, Maple or Cherry Wood) finished with water based dyes and measures 9 inches diameter.

Regardless if you are starting this traditional European tradition or if you are expanding your collection of wooden accessories, decorations and Waldorf decorations, we have a big selection and you can rest assured all surface finishes are baby safe, EN-71 certified and some of these beautiful decorations are even colored by hand.
Please note: The wood is finished with dye not paint. The natural color of the wood will be visible through the white dye used on the surface of this birthday ring. For Newborn Baby months to 12 years. Available from Natural Baby Toys Store.

The European tradition of having a wooden birthday ring that is personalized with wooden figures and candles is something really special. A tradition that children enjoy tremendously and one that will create special memories, cherished for as long as we live.
This age old European tradition is a symbolic way to celebrate the anniversary of your child's birth and show reverence for each year of their life thus far.

You will need a Wooden birthday ring with 12 or 16 holes in it (each hole representing a year in your child's life) Birthday candles (that will fit into the ring) Brass inserts for the candles Wooden figurines (all sold seperately). Each one of the wooden holes represent a year in your child's life. You will light a candle for each year and the rest of the holes are decorated with wooden figures. Usually the figures used are ones that are meaningful to your child at that moment. If your child is a pices you may choose some water themed figures, if he likes cars or animals then that may be represented or if a specific season/person is important then a figure could be used to represent that. People use a lot of creativity when it comes to this classic European tradition.

You don't have to put this ring away when it is not someone's birthday! These wooden Waldorf Rings makes wonderful seasonal table decorations for the rest of the year.
