The angels brought the good news to the Sheppards while they were watching their sheep. While Jesus was laying in the manger a bright star shone in the sky above the stable where Jesus was born. Angels praised his name and everyone from the donkey to the Sheppards and the kings bowed down to give praise to the Son of God.

Kathe Kruse's old Sheppard doll is a flexible play doll that can be used for every day play or as seasonal decoration during Christmas. What a great way to illustrate and tell the story of the birth of Jesus.

The Old Sheppard is shown dressed in traditional clothes worn by Sheppards 2000 years ago. He has grey hair, a beard and walking stick.

Kathe Kruse flexible Waldorf dollhouse dolls have sheep wool stuffing in the head, a hand painted face and mohair hair. The Old Sheppard's legs and arms are hemp covered wire so he may be posed in many positions. His beech wood feet provide a steady footing.
